  5. This program allows you to rename a sequence of files into a different
  6. format.  I specifically wrote this to convert Toaster FRAMESTORES to RGB
  7. files.
  8.  
  9. For example:  105.FS.Doggy  (toaster framestore)
  10.  
  11. could be easily converted into:  Doggy.105  (RGB format)
  12.  
  13.  
  14. So, if you have a 400 frame animation, but want the format of the filenames
  15. changed around, then this is the program for you!

  27. There is one known quirk with this program, if you try to restructure
  28. filenames that are made up of numbers without placeholders
  29. (i.e. Travis.1 instead of Travis.001), it will rename them, but
  30. not always in the correct order.  This program sorts alphabetically.
  31. If you have three files, called:
  32. "Hello.9" "Hello.10" and "Hello.11", and you want to convert them to:
  33. "Doggy.001" "Doggy.002" and "Doggy.003"  you may get strange results.  If
  34. you are using placeholders there will be no problems.  Also, renaming files
  35. to names without placeholders is not a problem either, provided the
  36. original names had the appropriate placeholders for the numbers.
  37. I personally plan on using this a lot.
